To examine the state of the North American glass industry, including employment trends, competition, and U.S. trade and industrial policy, and to recommend and support GMIC advocacy projects.
Deliverables may include:
✔ Developing legislative agenda at federal/state levels
✔ Identifying gaps in industry data required to support members and influence policy makers
✔ Building collaborative relationships with other glass or trade associations

members and the industry.
Deliverables may include:
✔ Developing annual communication plan
✔ Gathering content from members and industry for the blog, quarterly newsletter, and other electronic communications
✔ Reviewing the GMIC website
✔ Supporting Glass Problems Conference marketing and messaging

To analyze the current state of glass industry education and make recommendations for development of a GMIC education program that complements the annual Glass Problems Conference.
Deliverables include:
✔ A roadmap for an expanded GMIC education program that will better support its members and the industry
✔ A scan of current education trends, providers, and gaps
✔ A member survey to determine educational needs of members/industry
✔ Recommendations for online and in-person courses that will be relevant and valuable to the industry
✔ Opportunities to collaborate with other education providers, i.e., member companies and educational institutions

To recommend and implement strategies that enhance the value of GMIC membership, encourage new and continuing membership, and to increase member engagement.
Deliverables include:
✔ A workplan that identifies opportunities to enhance the member experience and to increase member participation, identifying potential new members and industry events that GMIC could attend to support membership and outreach
✔ Support for onboarding new members
✔ Reviewing surveys to understand member needs and industry issues and concerns
