“Thank you to all the individuals that help make the GMIC the great organization it is.  The longer I am involved the more I am impressed by all the people who help make this function given their workloads outside our group.  As an update, we are on track to make the 2025 GPC a success and build upon the feedback from last year.  Please continue to give feedback (positive and negative) on all of our activities.  One ask I have for the group is to put an emphasis on the awards that are given out at the GPC and give thanks to the wonderful sponsors of the awards.  I would greatly appreciate making their decisions difficult from having multiple qualified individuals represented in the process.  We just completed our annual in person board meetings, thank you to Gallo for hosting the tours during the meetings. We made progress on our Industry Report, Education efforts and GPC in future years as part of the meetings.  We are making progress on the grant that we have been awarded and there will be presentations at the Glass Problems Conference sharing what we are working on.  Other areas we are focusing on include our expansion of the committee work (please look to see if you would like to participate in any of them) and advocacy for the glass industry.  Please reach out if you have any questions on our activities and key objectives.”
